At may 2nd we made our activity from Nature Park Steinwald. Again we tried to set up two stations, one in a wooden house, the second one on a mobile-trailer. However conditions were very tricky. Weather conditions were terrible the whole day. Temperatures like in late autumn and not spring and it was raining cats and dogs.

Location was at abt 730 meter asl directly under our 433mhz repeater. The main crew consisted by the operators Karl -DL4RU-, Xaver -DK4RM and Manfred -DF6EX-. A lot of preparation-work and antenna-work was done by Günther -DC2RK-. He constructed also the mobile trailer some years ago for our CW-fieldday-activities.

Start was at 0730 utc with UA9SGQ as our first station in the log. 20meter was in bad condition this day, so we missed a lot of our friends. Sometimes you could call nearly endless without any response.

Our best band again was 40 meter. Anyway we had very big trouble from the running contest-activities to find a clear shot at all. Nearly 60 percent of all our contacts were made on this band.

Our equipment was a YAESU FT990 and a YAESU FT2000. Using multiband-dipole antennas.

Last QSO was made at 1300 utc with OH6GZ. So altogether made it 465 in our log. Thank you for calling and enjoy WFF-hunting.

Upload of the log is done (thanks to Ivan EW4DX). Check the log at

QSL-cards needs to be designed and will follow as soon as printed.
